How do I send a fax using Venali Internet Fax Services?

Sending a fax with Venali is as easy as sending an email. Simply create a new message in your favorite email application, attach the documents(s) you wish to fax, add a fax number in the "To:" field (country code prefix then the number; in the USA use a 1 prefix) followed by the suffix "@venali.net", and click "Send." It’s that simple. Your Fax will arrive within minutes and a fax confirmation message will arrive in your inbox confirming the fax was sent.

Can I send to multiple recipients?

Yes, faxes to a single number can be sent to multiple users or even a list of users. Ideally, this is done from a distribution list on the company’s mail server

How do I receive a fax using Venali Internet Fax Services?

Simply provide your new Venali Fax number to customers, colleagues, friends or family. When a fax is sent to your number, it will arrive in your email inbox as an attachment (either PDF or TIFF). Open the attachment and the fax will appear in the appropriate application. Faxes can be accessed immediately, or saved for future reference, printing or forwarding.

What type of files can I send using Venali Internet Fax?

Venali supports most popular file formats incuding: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat PDF, Plain text, TIFF, Postscript, RTF, PCX, GIF, BMP, JPG, WMF, DCX, ASCII Files, PCN, and HTML and many more.

What is required to use Venali Internet Fax?

You just need Internet access, an email account, and a Venali account and fax number. You do not need any new hardware and you do not need to install any fax software. Venali can be used with most email client MS Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo and many more. Also, you can send and receive faxes as easily as email from your desktop, laptop or wireless device.

How reliable is Venali Internet Fax?

For the past 3 solid months, Venali has had a 100% uptime for all services provided. Historically, the uptime has an average of at least 99.8%.

How secure is Venali Internet Fax?

Depending on a company’s security requirements or policy, access to document archiving can be limited through a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or private line connection. Companies can then designate or grant access privileges only to authorized users through the Venali Account Management Center. Knowing that files are protected, private and secure eliminates the worry associated with retaining sensitive documents for extended periods of time. Companies can specify options for archiving limits by amount of memory, periods of time, or amount of users. Document archiving is billed separately from other Venali services.

What country can I get a fax number from?

Choose from local or toll-free area codes for hundreds of cities across North America, Europe, or Asia.

Can I port my current fax number(s)?

Yes, Venali allows number porting. The process can take anywhere between 30-45 days and requires some additional paperwork from your current provider.

Can I monitor my account and fax activity online?

Yes, with the Account Management Center, users can: view faxes moving in real-time to recipients, monitor delivery status of fax activity, check success rates of delivered faxes, analyze peak delivery hour charts, review call by call delivery statistics, examine billing and account information including statements, balances and invoices and add, remove or modify the privileges and access of selected users.
